A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
I'll start by saying I know Courmayeur well, having been coming here for 50 years. For skiing, it's always a disappointment. Aside from the priceless scenery, there's not enough investment in facilities and slope preparation; the comparison with Trantino or Alto Adige is embarrassing. Furthermore, the area is small; you can ski all the slopes in two hours. There's been talk for years of connecting it to La Thuile, which would significantly expand the options, but evidently there are some obstacles. If I didn't have a house, I'd go skiing elsewhere.

Very nice station to get to the station there are two chairlifts, a large one that starts from the center and the small ones that start from the north of Courmayer, also nice for the fact of partying at the super G, very cheap ski pass prices compared to other less renowned places, a wonderful thing to do absolutely if you come to Courmayer and go to see the skyway on Mont Blanc seen from 3462 meters wonderful equipped with a bar and refreshment unique experience to do at least once in your life!!!

Between the village and the surrounding area, it's definitely worth a visit. The Skyway is truly fantastic, reaching 3,700 meters, just a stone's throw from the summit of Mont Blanc, with a view beyond compare.

After a few years, we returned with some friends to whom we'd raved about the beauty of the facilities. A total disappointment: ungroomed slopes, full of bumps, dangerous even for expert skiers, old, unrenovated facilities, terrible bathrooms. A shame, considering the beauty of the view, and not to mention the cost of a day pass!

Resort with magnificent views of Mont Blanc, plenty of sunshine... Not a very large ski area, a few lifts that could use some investment. Excellent slopeside restaurants, Italian style!

The slopes are poorly maintained, ungroomed at 9 a.m. and abandoned. The facilities are very old and not suited to the location. Avoid, especially considering the price of the ski pass.

Uninteresting slopes. I'd been there as a boy and it hadn't made much of an impression. Then I toured the Alps. Poorly maintained slopes, old-fashioned lifts. Bland and uninteresting slopes. La Thuile is definitely better for skiing. Too many people at the parties.

Perfect location for skiing at any level immersed in a fantastic panorama.
