Gerlos - Zillertal Arena is set in Tyrol’s Zillertal valley and forms part of the wider Zillertal Arena, the largest ski area in the Zillertal. The linked area runs from Zell am Ziller through Gerlos towards Königsleiten and Hochkrimml, with skiing up to 2,500 m. Average annual snowfall is around 400 cm, and key parts of the ski area are supported by snowmaking. The ski resort area covers 445 ha, with 150 km of pistes, 84 pistes and 52 lifts. The piste mix is strongest for intermediate and advanced skiers, with around 29% intermediate pistes, 58% advanced pistes and 13% expert terrain. From Gerlos, Isskogelbahn and Dorfbahn Gerlos provide convenient access into the main linked ski area. Families are well served by ski schools, hire services, clear lift access and extra winter activities across the Zillertal Arena, including Snowpark Gerlos, Funpark Hochkrimml, Action Park Kreuzwiese, snowtubing on Gerlosstein and the Arena Coaster at Rosenalmbahn in Zell am Ziller. Gerlos - Zillertal Arena is a strong choice for visitors who want a large linked ski area, reliable infrastructure and a lively Tyrolean village base.
