Jested Piste Map
Ještěd’s terrain is compact but more varied than its city-edge location might suggest. The ski area offers 8.6 km of pistes, with skiing between roughly 540 m and 930 m.
Skalka is one of the key areas. Nová Skalka is especially important: at 1.5 km long and 45 m wide, it is well suited to flowing turns, evening skiing and confident families.
Beginners and children should start with FunPark and Ještěd Ski School. This is the most sensible place for first turns, controlled speed and a gentler introduction to the resort.
Stronger skiers should focus on Skalka and Černý vrch. With a high share of advanced terrain, Ještěd is better for skiers who enjoy red pistes than for those wanting only easy cruising.
The snowpark adds a freestyle option to the piste network. With rail features, it gives snowboarders and playful skiers a change from standard piste laps.
The setting is the standout feature. Views over Liberec, the Ještěd ridge and the famous tower create a ski experience that feels distinctive, even though the area is modest in size.
