Špindlerův Mlýn Piste Map
Špindlerův Mlýn’s terrain is spread across several interconnected areas, each offering a distinct skiing experience. The main zones—Svatý Petr, Medvědín, Hromovka, Labská, Horní Mísečky, and Stoh—are linked via ski buses and a unified lift pass system. Svatý Petr is the resort’s flagship area, known for its well-maintained pistes and hosting international competitions. It features the FIS World Cup black run, a 1.3 km descent with a 450 m elevation drop, ideal for advanced skiers seeking a challenge.
Medvědín caters to intermediate and advanced skiers with its red and black pistes, including the scenic Medvědín–Červená run. It also serves as a gateway to ridge skiing and offers panoramic views of the Krkonoše Mountains. Beginners and families will find Horní Mísečky especially welcoming, with gentle slopes, a dedicated children’s park, and easy access to ski schools. The area’s wide pistes and mellow gradients make it perfect for building confidence.
Hromovka is popular for night skiing, with the longest illuminated piste in the Czech Republic. It connects directly to Svatý Petr via a high-speed chairlift, allowing skiers to extend their day on the slopes. Labská, though smaller, offers a quieter experience with scenic descents and a three-person chairlift. Stoh, on the other hand, is favoured by expert skiers for its steep gradients and less crowded runs.
The resort features three terrain parks, each equipped with rails, jumps, and freestyle zones. These are located near Medvědín and Svatý Petr, catering to snowboarders and freestyle enthusiasts. The Funtrack Hromovka adds a playful twist with wave runs and slalom sections suitable for all ages. With 6 park rails and a tubing lane in Bedřichov, there’s plenty of variety beyond traditional skiing.
Natural features such as the Labská Dam and the surrounding ridges enhance the skiing experience, offering stunning backdrops and opportunities for photography. The longest run, Turistická, spans 2.7 km and is ideal for leisurely descents with scenic views. Thanks to artificial snowmaking on over 90% of the terrain, conditions remain consistent even during milder spells.
Špindlerův Mlýn’s terrain is designed to accommodate all skill levels. Beginners can start on the Cvičná louka or Vodovodni pistes, while intermediates will enjoy the Hromovka II and Medvědín–Tréninková runs. Advanced skiers can test their mettle on the Červená FIS and Stoh slopes. The resort’s layout ensures that skiers can progress naturally, with clear signage and well-groomed pistes throughout.
