A very pleasant resort which has retained its charm but which is a victim of its own success during school holidays.
A pretty, lively, rural, and authentic village. Comprehensive and free bus network (connecting to La Clusaz). Dynamic Tourist Office. Le Borne
Large queues at the lifts.

Great resort, very well-maintained slopes. There could be more runs on the Col des Annes side. There are green runs for beginners, which is rare for resorts in the Alps.
Ski lockers under the gondola, two gondolas to filter the crowds, shuttle to get back home.
Lack of mini ski lifts, like the Lachat chairlift to the Rosay gondola where you have to walk back up.

We love the resort; it just lacks evening entertainment and food options, especially takeaway. The people we met, whether at the tourist office, the ski instructors, or in some of the shops, were very pleasant. Thank you.
The ski area is great. The village is beautiful.
The prices are high, especially going up. There's a lack of food options and evening entertainment.

The senior/4-hour pass is very expensive compared to the full-day pass. When you reach a certain age, you can't ski all day anymore! Too bad, I'll go to a smaller resort.
Large ski area with varied slopes, snowpark for young people, free shuttle buses to the car parks
Not enough blue runs and slow Terre Rouge and Floria chairlifts

Amazing!

A superb resort, magnificent views, very welcoming locals, and a wide variety of activities. A family-friendly resort with charming chalets—no concrete! Dog-friendly without a doubt. Definitely worth revisiting in the summer.
A diverse and extensive range of options to suit all tastes.
It's not gentle madness

A ski area spread across two slopes, allowing you to ski depending on the sun. There's something for everyone and every level (from beginner to expert). Freestyle enthusiasts won't be disappointed either, with one of the best snowparks I've ever seen. The resort is beautiful. The area offers the potential for fantastic freeride lines for ski mountaineering and ski touring enthusiasts. There's no uncontrolled development. Only wooden chalets, giving it real charm and a family village feel. Access to the gondola at 1000m is difficult in the morning. It gets very crowded. Going up to 1400m is a better option, with parking right at the foot of the slopes (Floria chairlift). A superb resort in the Aravis mountains, not to be missed.
A large and accessible ski area. A huge snowpark. No high-rise buildings.
Average altitude at the base of the slopes. Be aware of years with little snow. The resort is fully equipped with snow cannons.

We always have a great time at this very family-friendly resort!
A very desirable area

I love this resort, it's pretty, the ski area is very good, and there are also shuttles and buses available to get around.
A pleasant, family-friendly resort with great and convenient buses and shuttles.

We had a fantastic day in Le Grand Bornand on December 16th. The conditions were perfect: great snow, sunshine, and hardly anyone on the slopes. The off-piste areas are easily accessible between the pistes, allowing you to enjoy the powder without venturing too far. The price is very reasonable, and the free parking is a real bonus. As an added bonus, there was an airbag in the snowpark, ideal for having fun and trying out jumps. A truly pleasant and accessible resort, perfect for a carefree day out.
A pleasant resort with a varied choice of slopes
Much of the resort is in the shade in the morning
