The best value for money in the Alps for skiing.
Reasonable lift pass prices, top-quality ski area. Around fifteen black runs, including the famous Vallon du Pra, with a 1000m vertical drop, absolutely stunning.
Plenty of off-piste opportunities everywhere. High-capacity lifts, short wait times (except at the Prapoutel departure point, which is better for the Pipay departure point!). Skiing in the morning on Pleynet, in the sunshine.
Snow park, mogul fields for younger skiers.
The downsides:
Lack of altitude, the highest point of the slopes is 2400m.
Size: For a good skier, it gets a bit boring after about 4 days.
Entertainment: Limited, not a place to party.
In short, it's not Val d'Isère, Val Thorens, or Tignes, but in terms of skiing quality, it's not far behind.
Once again, the best value for money in the Alps. The people of Lyon and Grenoble are not mistaken, as they make up the core of the attendance.
