Good evening, I'd like to share my experience from today, which left me with a very bad feeling. I was with two skiers who were able to ski down the blue runs, but due to fatigue, they fell from time to time, thankfully without serious injury. We arrived at the bottom of the Coulouvrier chairlift around 4 pm, just before closing time, ready to complain about the Samoëns 1600 lift. The ski patroller right behind us, who was closing the piste, told us not to go up because it would take too long to get down to Samoëns. The lift operator there told us to take a path to reach Haut Morillon and that there were gondolas to Morillon and a shuttle to Samoëns. But he hadn't considered the state of the path: two-thirds of it was covered in ice, and there were sections of loose rock. With two exhausted skiers, I was really angry with the patroller who told us not to go up when the chairlift was open. Anyway, we arrived at Haut Morillon, only to find the gondola closed and no way to get there. To get to Morillon, and even though there was no longer a shuttle to Samoëns at that hour, we were forced to call a taxi and pay €70 for our return to Samoëns 1600, arriving at 6:30 PM. It was a very bad experience, especially given the very young ski patroller.
I hope this message reaches him, and if I have the opportunity to run into him again, I will certainly mention it to him.
