Levi is open for skiing today, officially kicking off the 2026/27 winter season on 2 October, with the Winter Season Opening celebrations running 2–4 October. The resort's own live status shows 3 of 28 lifts and 3 of 44 slopes running, with natural snow at 0 cm; the Front slope area, including the Express gondola, North chairlift and Glacier Express, is open 9:30am–7pm. It's currently 9.3°C at Levi Centre with light winds around 2.9 m/s, and cooler at 7.5°C up at Levi Peak with stronger winds around 6.7 m/s. The N.1750m and two ICE-run slopes are running, with the rest of the terrain yet to open as the season ramps up. Snow parks and snowmaking are not yet active (0 of 4 and 0 respectively). Ski Pass office, rental, ski service, the Zero Point brand store and first aid are all open at Zero Point; Café Zero is open until midnight, with Horisont open 11am–4pm. 29–31 October brings the World Rookie Freeski Camp, with a Halloween Ski Night on 31 October.

Levi is located in Finnish Lapland, near Kittilä, and is one of Finland’s best-known ski resorts. The ski resort area covers 41 ha, with 43 pistes and 27 lifts. Skiing runs from 202 m to 531 m, and the resort benefits from a long winter season, cold northern conditions and snowmaking support. The ski area offers around 45 km of pistes, with the longest run measuring about 2.5 km. The terrain mix leans towards intermediate and advanced skiing, but there are also accessible beginner areas, family-friendly zones, ski school services and tubing. This makes Levi suitable for mixed-ability groups as well as confident skiers. Levi is a strong choice for visitors who want reliable, well-organised skiing with a distinctive Lapland setting. It does not offer Alpine-scale vertical, but it delivers efficient lifts, evening skiing, compact resort services and a memorable Arctic atmosphere.
