This is my local station and is frequented mainly by local skiers and boarders. As a result its a little hidden gem - not the best facilities but great for kids or families and enough to keep most folks at all levels occupied for a day or two.
A good mix of small “ski in” restaurants and animations for the kids over the school breaks when it gets a little busier.
It also has a range of hire shops of good quality and the friendliness of the welcome is second to none

Great resort for the familly, I have 2 boys under teens and they love it. No aggro No hasstle and great staff that want to help. The ski hire shop we use now lets us leave our boards in their store room during the week to save taking them home in the car.(We live 2 hours away). This year 2011 the snow was great early season but the warm weather killed it off in December and Jan.The snow is back now Febuary and looks like we will get another few weeks in the snow.

From the great drive up to the resort to the top of the black runs, this is a great place. I'm a novice skier just about tackling reds, but the group I was with included some very experienced people and they were all in agreement about the place. Exciting challenging runs whatever the level. The service is warm and friendly, the folks in the shops and restaurants all helpful. We had a need for an ambulance on one of our days there, thankfully all OK, and it was handled very efficiently. Highly recommended resort.
