Bad Hofgastein - Skischaukel Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel is located in Salzburg's Gastein Valley and links Bad Hofgastein, Angertal and Bad Gastein into one connected ski area. The resort offers 859 ha of ski terrain, 85.9 km of pistes, 27 pistes and 18 lifts. Skiing ranges from around 860 m to 2300 m, with a vertical drop of 1440 m, average annual snowfall of around 300 cm and snowmaking on key routes. The piste mix suits skiers looking for long descents and plenty of space. Around 41% of the pistes are intermediate, 48% advanced and 11% expert. Highlights include the wide slopes of Schlossalm, the more demanding terrain on Stubnerkogel and the famous Hohe Scharte Nord run. Families benefit from Angertal, home to XXL GASTI Park, ski schools, rentals and beginner facilities. Funslope Schlossalm, Familypark Schlossalm, Snowpark Stubnerkogel, Skimovie courses and Speedline add extra variety. The resort combines modern lifts, long runs and the thermal spa atmosphere of the Gastein Valley.
