We have been guests in St. Johann, Alpendorf for 15 years, all of us now over 50.
This year, we again bought seven-day ski passes, except for me, who has a daily day ticket due to health reasons.
Since a friend injured herself the day before and was due to see the emergency doctor in Großarl around noon today, I thought I could use her ski pass for today without any hassle, instead of her returning it at the ticket office due to illness and getting a refund, which is possible.
Upon passing through the first!!! turnstile at approximately 9:40 a.m., an employee of the operating company pulled me aside.
He didn't introduce himself to my husband and me, neither by name nor in his official capacity, didn't listen to us at all, accused us of fraud, and threatened us with the police and a €1500 fine or immediate payment of €50, as well as confiscation of our ski passes. He treated my husband and me like hardened criminals.
We tried several times to explain the situation to him, that we had acted unknowingly and that no damage had occurred. Not a single ride on the ski lifts was taken!
He wasn't interested at all.
Despite repeated requests, he refused to give us his name.
We have since found out his name.
We are all still stunned. At no point did we intentionally or knowingly intend to deceive or harm anyone.
We paid the €50 fine.
The injured friend's ski pass was confiscated.
Several calls to the operating company have so far failed to produce a mutually agreeable solution, at least to reactivate the injured person's ski pass or issue a refund.
This is concerning with regard to the public image and communication of Snow Space operating company Salzburg AG, and according to the Austrian Criminal Code, it also constitutes a criminal offense by implying intent on the part of the operating company, Snow Space Salzburg Bergbahnen AG, specifically Philipp K., against us.

Schöne breite Pisten, aber so viele gefährliche Pistenkreuzungen und massiv überfüllte Engstellen habe ich bisher noch in keinem Skigebiet erlebt. Mit Kindern hätte ich da auch kein gutes Gefühl. Leider!!

Ośrodek dobry podstawowe trasy szerokie i długie w sezonie są miejsca przepełnione, do głównych gondoli często 5-10 min kolejka . Dla każdego coś dobrego jednak bardzo trudnych tras mało - czerwone trasy średniej trudności przyjemne do jazdy - jak jest mało ludzi .

Ziemlich gut ist das Skigebiet Wagrain, nicht nur wegen der Lage, sondern auch wegen des Angebots. Wir starten immer gerne am Grafenberg und arbeiten uns dann weiter vor in den einzelnen Skigebieten. Außerdem sind die Wege zu den anderen Gebieten kurz.

Het gebied waar je heen kan is erg groot en hoeft nooit met de bus want alles is met liften verbonden
