We've been in Werfenweng for two weeks. The slopes are completely unprepared. There's only ice on the slopes and lots of huge chunks of ice. Very difficult conditions. The internet is misleading because fewer slopes are actually open than advertised. If you want to break your legs, this is the place for you. Definitely avoid the Werfenweng ski resort. When I asked why there was ice on the slopes, the lady at the ticket desk rudely replied that they weren't responsible for the ski conditions. Ski Amadé was perfectly prepared, though. It's better to go to Ski Amadé; it's definitely better there. Don't waste your money on Werfenweng. AS OF 31.12.2025 AND 1.01.2026 - A disaster. ONLY ICE ON THE SLOPES. LARGE PIECES OF ICE EVERYWHERE. THERE'S AN AMBULANCE TAKING SOMEONE AWAY ALL THE TIME. The price for a lift ticket is the same as Ski Amadé, yet there are three completely unprepared slopes for skiers and three children's slopes.

Wir fahren hier seit vielen Jahren mit der Familie hin, und es ist für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene seit je her fabelhaft

Petite station familiale, bien équipée (remontes pentes, Ikarus, canons à neige, snow park (perso, jamais utilisé donc pas noté), ...) et proche des axes routiers, parking, facilité d'accès aux divers services. Resto, Gastof, hôtel ... en nombre avec propreté et bon rapport qualité/prix. Idéal pour les familles avec enfants en bas âges.
Cela fait 15 ans que j'y vais et pour rien au monde, je changerais :)

Klein maar prachtig skigebied voor families met kinderen, senioren, mensen die houden van een rustig maar goed uitgerust skigebied. Paradijs voor winter Paragleiders en sneeuwschoen wandelaars. Goed onderhouden loipes voor de langlaufers.
