We've been coming to Flachauwinkl with our group for over 25 years now. Burgstallhütte is the most beautiful ski hut I know.
Great facilities
A beautiful area for all skill levels, with plenty of options off-piste. Often, there's a choice between easier and more challenging routes with parallel slopes. Due to its location/altitude, there's less artificial snow!
My girlfriend bought a 4-hour ticket. At the second lift in Flachauwinkl, there was a 10-minute wait. The employee was leisurely smoking and playing on his phone until he finally turned it on. At 12:30, it was still closed despite the €63.50 ticket. Result today in Mühlbach: €60 from 8:30 to 1 p.m. Flachauwinkl is never satisfied.

Hier kommt man gleich zum Skifahren, keine langen Ziehwege! Verbindung mit Shuttle-Berg und Snowspace-Salzburg ergibt ein riesengroßes Skigebiet, für jeden was dabei! Zauchensee bis in den April hinein TOP-Schneelage!
seit über 30 Jahren fahre ich dort ... meine Kinder haben dort gelernt... ich fahre immer noch dort ... nach einigen Verirrungen... Freunde sehen das auch so...
The snow is exceptional with plenty of options when it comes to ski runs. However the après ski isn’t excellent and the night life is rubbish. I recommend staying in Altenmacht and skiing in Zauchensee to get the best of both worlds.
