In good vis you can ski the basics without a guide, you will have a better time with one, in low visibility you need to have a reasonable idea where you are going. Best ski station in the world but you need a bit of patience.

A must for anyone who loves skiing freely, far from the hustle and bustle, noise, and infrastructure of the larger resorts. Here, the mountain reveals itself in its wildest form. La Grave offers a wide range of options for both experienced skiers and professional freeriders. Skiing is still done the old-fashioned way, in harmony with nature. A good skill level is required to come here, not to mention safety equipment. The village reflects the ski area: unspoiled and authentic. Ultimately, La Grave isn't something you can just describe, it's something you experience!
