Plan de Corones, or Kronplatz, (2275 m) is situated in the heart of Pusteria Valley and is the largest ski area in Alto Adige. With over 100 km of slopes and modern ski lifts, it's a perfect destination for both skiers and snowboarders and is loved by sports and nature lovers alike. Located at the top of a wide swath of forest on the south side of Pusteria Valley, it offers a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. Thanks to 100% snowmaking coverage, Plan de Corones guarantees high quality and safe skiing. Freeriders and freestylers will enjoy the new Plan de Corones Snowpark, which has rails, boxes and kickers. Plus there are numerous play areas for families with children, child-friendly slopes, and the opportunity for children to learn how to ski while having fun. Those who don't ski can enjoy sunbathing on the lower slopes or on the sunny plateau at the top of the resort. Plan de Corones extends to several lateral valleys, and includes San Vigilio di Marebbe, Brunico, the village of Riscone, and Valdaora.
