Galtür - Silvretta Piste Map
Galtür’s terrain is compact yet diverse. Key lifts – including the Ballunspitzbahn, Alpkogelbahn and Birkhahnbahn – provide access to the six themed zones of the Silvapark concept. The ski area offers 43 km of pistes across 19 runs, with elevations ranging from 1,600 m to 2,465 m, a vertical drop of 660 m and a maximum descent of 3 km.
For families and beginners, Siggi’s Bambiniland offers a safe and engaging learning environment with gentle slopes and magic carpets. The pistes around the Alpkogel are also ideal for early turns, with good visibility and proximity to dining and ski school facilities, making daily planning easier.
Intermediate skiers will enjoy varied runs like Abfahrt 12 and Dynamite, which offer consistent gradients and scenic views. The Ballunspitzbahn serves longer descents with panoramic vistas of the Silvretta range. Thanks to the altitude and snowmaking, piste conditions remain reliable throughout the season.
Experienced skiers will find rewarding challenges in the Race Area sector and on the steeper terrain around the Ballunspitzbahn. These runs feature natural elements such as moguls and wooded sections, and are especially enjoyable after fresh snowfall.
Freestyle riders can explore the Silvapark Snowpark, which is divided into two zones catering to different ability levels. While no rails or jumps are currently listed, the park includes natural features and flow lines designed for progression and creativity.
Cross-country skiers benefit from an 80 km network of trails stretching through the Paznauntal and surrounding forests. Routes are prepared for both classic and skating styles, with a mix of flat sections and more athletic variants. Access is available directly from the village.
