An ideal freeride area, also very spacious and with top-quality groomed slopes.
Ideal for freeriding
Not ideal for bad skiers

Top ski resort. Something for everyone.

A great resort for experienced skiers. There are plenty of beautifully situated ski routes offering plenty of satisfaction. And of course, Langer Zug is a must-see!
Great ski slopes, lots of places for freeriding.
In some places, it can be quite crowded, and there can be long waits for the lifts when returning from distant locations. Most races run until 4:00 PM, and one even ran until 3:45 PM.

Hello, we were in St. Anton am Arlberg from January 5th to 11th, 2025. I've been skiing for 30 years, and I've never encountered such bad slopes as in St. Anton. The slopes on the Hausberg were groomed, but above them they were very poor, very bumpy, and posed a high risk of injury, making them unsuitable for beginners. Unfortunately, this was the case all week. Never again St. Anton am Arlberg!

Love this skiing experience. A first choice for North American skiers looking to get a taste of skiing in Europe. In addition to skiing, food and lodging options are excellent and way more reasonable than USA.
Massive terrain and lift system. Village to village skiing with loads of charm
Steep for beginners and lower intermediates. Getting back to St Antoncan be very crowded

Negative: Easter 2024 => See listed disadvantages.
You can reach high altitudes and there's plenty of snow.
Currently, at Easter 2024, I cannot understand why, despite the lifts being closed around midday (for the entire Easter weekend) due to the wind, it was still possible to use them in the morning and also around midday (when the lifts were already closed).

A very beautiful and varied ski area. There's something for everyone. Even during peak season, you can find slopes that are quite quiet. There's also plenty to do off-piste. It's a shame that weather warnings are published very sparsely and late. If you want to check the snow conditions using the webcams, you'll run into limitations when there's little snow. The webcams are altered in such a way that you can't see that the valley run is now just a compacted strip.
A very diverse ski area
Lack of information about lift status, etc.

Good ski area even in low temperatures
A large ski area with plenty of space and numerous slopes. Reaching altitudes of over 2900 meters, it also offers good snow conditions at higher elevations. The fun park has something for everyone.
Down below, snow conditions are sometimes poor due to high temperatures. You have to walk through the village to get to a ski lift.
