Stubaier Gletscher is located in Tyrol, Austria, in the Stubaital valley south-west of Innsbruck. The ski area covers 205 ha, with 66 km of pistes, 23 pistes and 25 lifts. With skiing from 1697 m to 3210 m and around 500 cm of average annual snowfall, it is one of the most snow-reliable choices in the region. The piste mix is best suited to confident skiers, with around 58 % intermediate pistes, 38 % advanced pistes and 5 % expert pistes. The terrain is wide, open and high-alpine, making it especially good for long turns, carving and glacier skiing rather than sheltered tree-lined runs. Families are best served around Gamsgarten, where BIG Family Ski-Camp gives children and learners a clear, manageable starting point. Add in modern lift access, Stubai Zoo snowpark and the TOP OF TYROL viewing platform, and Stubaier Gletscher is a strong option for skiers who want reliable snow, big views and a long season.
