Tux - Finkenberg - Zillertal Gletscherwelt 3000 lies in Tyrol’s Zillertal and combines access to the Hintertux Glacier with the wider Ski- & Glacier World Zillertal 3000. With skiing reaching up to 3,250 m, it is one of Austria’s most snow-sure choices, particularly for visitors who want reliable high-altitude conditions and a long season. The ski area covers 619 ha, with 196 km of pistes, 85 pistes and 65 lifts. The terrain mix is broad, with around 12% beginner pistes, 29% intermediate pistes, 52% advanced pistes and 7% expert terrain. Annual snowfall is listed at around 850 cm, and snowmaking supports key areas when needed. Families benefit from ski schools, easier practice zones, modern lift access and non-ski highlights such as Nature’s Ice Palace on the Hintertux Glacier. Stronger skiers will appreciate the glacier setting, long descents, high-altitude views and the option to combine Hintertux with Finkenberger Almbahnen and Penken during a longer stay.
