Zillertal Arena Reviews

The slopes were too crowded and too difficult for me! After three days, I'd had enough and quit, even though I had a 7-day ski pass. Black runs were marked as red. Lifts were closed because wind was expected, which never materialized. This ski vacation in the Zillertal was the worst I've ever experienced. I will definitely never go skiing there again.

• Several ski resorts to choose from
• In my opinion, it's not suitable for families or beginners. The red-marked slopes include a long, very steep run that is definitely black, not red. I've been skiing for a long time, but I couldn't manage that steep slope.

Yesterday we were in Mountopolis – a disaster (the slopes were in terrible condition). Today, the weather was the same, and in the Zllertal Arena from Gerlos – a wonderland… the slopes were very well-groomed, wide, and free of intersections. Beautifully laid-out slopes. The views were fabulous. The infrastructure was modern, but the parking lot was empty. Despite the lack of snow, the resort ensured the slopes were in perfect condition.

A great resort with varied trails. The best trail in the gorge, connecting with Gerlos. Great fun parks, first-class views. Trail preparation is excellent, although at 3 p.m. the black trail down is a killer.

A fantastic ski area - something for everyone!

• Some slopes are not very blue, easy runs for beginners.

The slopes are good. Very nice ski area. Something for every skill level. There are good places to stop for refreshments. However, some huts are not good value for money! The connecting slope to Gerlos above the Kapauns lift is too narrow when there are many skiers. The slope rules should be explained to skiers more clearly! (Perhaps while waiting in line for the lifts!)

• Easily accessible for us. Great slope conditions! New, modern lifts added regularly!
• Parking attendants aren't directing visitors properly! Parking spaces aren't being used efficiently! Lift operators aren't proactive enough. These days, people need clear instructions! When there are a lot of visitors, skiers need to be directed to the lifts.

Najleprzy ośrodek w dolinie Zillertal. Trudno zaliczyć wszystkie trasy 1 dnia ale da się tylko trzeba być non stop w ruchu. Super!

Alles perfekt

Tolles abwechslungsreiches Skigebiet für alle Levels.

• Abwechslungsreiche Pisten, tolle Gastro.
• Mit kleinen Kindern lange Wege bis zur Skischule.

Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie in der Zillertal Arena und es hat allen Spaß gemacht. Die Kinder in der Skischule und die Eltern haben u.a. die längste Talabfahrt Österreichs ausprobiert. Geht beim Übergangsjoch los und dann knapp 10km. Toll. Über 55 Euro für den Skipass ist natürlich happig, aber es gibt ja auch eine Menge zu tun. Wenn man denn die Zeit hat.
