Zillertal Arena is one of the major ski areas in the Zillertal, stretching from Zell am Ziller through Gerlos to Königsleiten and Hochkrimml. Located in Tyrol and extending towards the Salzburg Pinzgau, it combines valley access, higher-altitude sectors and wide Alpine pistes. With skiing up to around 2,500 m, average annual snowfall of about 600 cm and snowmaking on key pistes, it is a strong choice for a full winter holiday. The ski area offers 164 ha of skiable terrain, 147 km of pistes, 84 pistes and 52 lifts. Skiing ranges from around 580 m to 2,500 m, giving the area a substantial vertical profile. The terrain is especially suited to intermediate and advanced skiers, with around 33% intermediate pistes, 59% advanced pistes and 7% expert sections. Zillertal Arena works well for families, confident skiers and mixed groups who want variety across several resort villages. Families can use ski schools, children’s areas, tobogganing and playful attractions, while stronger skiers can enjoy long red pistes, higher sectors around Gerlos, Königsleiten and Hochkrimml, and official parks. Choose Zillertal Arena if you want a broad, scenic and well-connected Austrian ski area where each day can feel different.
