This resort is definitely not for beginners. It's suitable for advanced skiers, but also for experts, meaning skiers with very good skills who can have a lot of fun skiing – and that doesn't require extreme black runs. The trails aren't very wide, so there's a tendency to create bumps.
Varied terrain, many routes
crowd in the morning at the start to the resort

They should definitely prepare the trails better. From 1 p.m. on, it's not a ride, it's a fight. I wonder if anyone on the staff knows about our reviews and if they plan to do anything about it.

The level is ok, however the quality and maintanance of slops is low after snowy nights.I would expect for such ticket price we would have bettet quality. But there was 30 cm of raw snow without any maintanance. The road in was wit low maitenance in the m

Next time I'd go somewhere else; the higher altitude simply doesn't offer enough quality. You can only ride there in the mornings because it's no longer good in the afternoons – too heavy, too slushy, too wet.
Location directly on the ski slope
Too low for really good snow, often lifted at midday, many bumps, not groomed well enough, many reckless drivers, fog

I've been going to Nassfeld for many years, with youth groups that are generally good skiers, and sports groups. My opinion after 12 years of camps: the trails are rather difficult, few for beginners, but well-prepared. There are plenty of restaurants on the slopes (who needs them?), because a thermos and sandwiches in a backpack left outside a restaurant are the best. Some people comment that moguls form. If there's 30-40 m of snow, they'll always be there after 3-4 hours, but the groomers don't run during the day. The resort is friendly to training, the trail is fenced off, safe for slalom runs. I've been most often in January, and it was always empty. A few times in March, when there were significantly more people at the gondola lifts, and there were queues in the morning. But if I arrived at 8 a.m., I was on the first gondolas. I go there to ski and train, not to explore the resort. I don't mind skiing the same trail for two hours over six days. Then we do some challenging runs on other trails, and it's great. The variety of trails is huge, so no one will be bored. One of the best resorts in Austria.

It was my first and last trip to Nassfeld. I've never encountered such poorly groomed slopes in Austria. The slopes were poorly groomed, and in some places, probably not groomed at all, as the gentler sections were covered in heavy snow. Sometimes, the slopes were in worse condition at 11:00 a.m. than at 3:00 p.m. the day before, even though there was no snow. At times, it wasn't skiing, but a struggle for survival. The food options on the slopes were very poor. And just to clarify, if you're going with children and want to ski blue runs, most of the blue runs on the map are actually connectors between red runs.

This is your first time at Nassfeld, and likely your last. Terrible moguls, poorly groomed slopes. We had purchased four-day passes, but one day the slope was closed all day due to weather conditions. I'm not saying they have to refund your money, but they could at least extend the pass by one day. Of course, they don't have to, but it would definitely work to their advantage.

Nice resort if you want to enjoy the views of the Alps. The slopes are rugged, sometimes unclear, narrow, with many steep passages, mostly red slopes. Completely unsuitable for anyone to learn. Lots of very fast skiers, unfortunately often those who can barely stand on their skis (snowboards) and go (fly) down. If you are a fan of carving, closed curves and such, you will not enjoy yourself here. If you do not mind riding on the slope with another hundred people around you, then you are welcome here. I do not use the restaurants and snow parks, I do not rate them. I did not see any children's lifts. And in fact, with one exception, I did not see any small children on the slope.
Nice views
Very many people.

As above My first ski trip to Austria and I'm disappointed. I expected super-prepared ski slopes.
Large selection of routes
The slopes are not prepared, there are moguls, at 11-12 it's a fight to survive, not a relaxing ride.
