Nassfeld - Hermagor is in Carinthia, southern Austria, close to the Italian border and within the Nassfeld-Pressegger See region. The ski area has a sunny Alpine-Adriatic character, with views towards the Carnic Alps and a strong reputation for reliable winter conditions. Average snowfall is around 750 cm per season, supported by extensive snowmaking when natural snow needs help. The ski resort area covers 121 ha and offers 110 km of pistes, 40 pistes and 29 lifts. The piste mix is best suited to confident skiers, with around 35% intermediate, 60% advanced and 5% expert terrain. That gives Nassfeld a strong red-piste focus, while still providing easier blue sections for families, beginners and improving skiers. Families are well catered for with the Young Stars Area, ski schools, rental services and fun features such as The Snake and The Wave. Stronger skiers and snowboarders can add Snowpark Nassfeld, Skimovie, Speed Photo and long descents from the upper mountain. Nassfeld - Hermagor is a good choice if you want a large, sunny Carinthian ski area with efficient access via the Millennium-Express and a relaxed Austrian-Italian atmosphere.
