Černá hora - Janské Lázně Reviews

It's February 10, 2026. The red runs were decent this morning, but then it only got worse. One run was partially closed, but there's no information at the top station. If you're traveling with children learning, the blue runs are mostly worn down to the ground, but the lift works! It doesn't matter if you ruin your skis. So... not quite what you expected. A great ski tour, I recommend it. We have no control over the weather, so that's not an issue.

• Theoretically, there's a wide selection of routes. If the weather's nice, the views are beautiful.
• The Czechs are really counting on good weather. And for the second year in a row, they've been wrong. Everywhere, there are either piles of "grout" or exposed ice. The roads are poorly groomed.

A beautiful area, which is unfortunately limited by the weather in the Czech Republic, but this year's Alps are not what they used to be. So I definitely recommend it

Fog, fog, fog almost every day in February 2024. I've never seen a mountain so foggy! The queues for the lifts are short, and the entrance to the gondola from the parking lot is about 5 floors high, with no resting space. I liked the ski bus and ski tour; it was a good idea, but more stops were needed because the town is steeply hilly. Overall, the trails were 4/5, but good enough to ride.

• the descent to the gondola was only one route through a narrow bridge over the street, there were pile-ups!

If you want to kill yourself, this is the place for you! I understand about artificial snow, etc., because there's no natural snow even in the mountains. But what happened there today... the conditions were truly difficult, if not nightmarish. Every few minutes, someone was being transported down injured. I guess we have to wait until winter returns and fresh snow falls. Or maybe we should have put on skates?

Super miejsce dla początkujących i średnio zaawansowanych narciarzy. Jak zaczynać przygodę to tylko tu. Oczywiście jest drożej ale za to spokojniej na trasach. My wybieramy terminy kiedy Czesi nie mają ferii razem z nami i jest luźniej na stokach.
