The place is nice in itself, but after the first descent and subsequent queues for the cable car, when you wait 20 minutes in line and German "tourists" will still come up to you on skis and here and there someone will overtake you, you'll give up skiing... one cable car for multiple slopes is really not the best idea... this place is definitely not for families with children... it's better to look at Klíny and possibly settle there... that's about it...

Good accessibility of the area, free parking (full soon). Very nice gentleman at the cashier. 2 covered cable cars, 1 heated chair.
AlLE: Overcrowded area, slopes started early and were unprepared, very long queues, lack of facilities (WC), few restaurants, bars......and you can't pay by card in the restaurant.

From 15 years of experience, it is not worth going on New Year's Eve, it is overcrowded, there are queues, the parking lots are full. Other dates are OK. Often there are no queues at all and if you don't want to wait for the stumps, use the Suziki cable car, I haven't experienced a queue there since it was launched :) or to Jáchymov there are also no queues at all. Improvements every year.

for the first time in a row for 800 CZK, waiting in line for 0.5 hours, the children are completely unhappy about it, sheer desperation to go down the slope 2-3 times an hour, never to Klínovec again for this reason, the balance of a father and child ski passes 1,200, for refreshments 400, the final parking fee for 150, in total you get to 1,800 for two people and you go down the slope 12 times in the whole day, great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and if 1,000,0000 people came there, they would sell them all a ski pass for nothing......

Málo značek že je tam zákaz kouření zahraniční turisté kouří ve frontách vloni mi ukradli batoh a hůlky a dnes je zlepšení už jenom hůlky batoh jsem radši nechala v autě

Klinovec is a nice resort that’s being developed recently. A good modern accommodation is being built up nearby. It may be slightly on the pricey side for a decent 2 bed apartment. The knowledge of German language is very helpful. English is pretty useless.
Good choice of experienced and friendly instructors.
The slopes are good, proximity to Germany gives a choice of skiIng areas though snow conditions may vary. The weather is generally foggy and windy In Dec and Jan. it might be worth checking the condition in Feb/March. On the bad non - skiing day a use of nearby thermal spring spas can certainly fill a day
Overall -a nice, pleasant place.
