Jasná’s terrain spans 55.8 km of groomed pistes across both the northern and southern slopes of Mt Chopok. With a base elevation of 934 m and a summit of 2,004 m, the resort offers a vertical drop of 1,061 m and a wide variety of runs. The layout includes 53% intermediate pistes, 34% advanced and 13% expert, making it ideal for skiers seeking progression and variety.
Beginners will find gentle slopes near Lúčky and Biela Púť, with dedicated learning zones and surface lifts. Maxiland children’s area provides a safe and engaging environment for young skiers, while wide blue pistes like Vrbická and Chaletová offer smooth descents for those building confidence.
Intermediate skiers can explore red pistes such as Majstrovská and Pretekárska, which feature rolling terrain and scenic views. The Turistická run, stretching 3.5 km from Luková to Záhradky, is a favourite for its length and consistent gradient. These routes are well-groomed and accessible via high-speed lifts.
Advanced skiers will enjoy the technical challenge of black pistes like Spravodlivá and Zjazdárska, which include steep pitches and natural moguls. The FIS run from Rovná Hoľa to Záhradky is used for competitions and offers a demanding descent with firm snow and tight turns.
Freestyle riders can head to the DC Snow Park near Otupné, which includes 12 pipes, rails and kickers for all skill levels. The park is groomed daily and hosts regular events, making it a hub for snowboarders and freeskiers. Night skiing is available on select pistes, including Biela Púť and Happy End.
Natural features include panoramic ridgelines, forested sections and freeride zones accessible from the summit. Jasná’s 12 designated freeride areas offer off-piste exploration with avalanche control and lift access. The varied landscape and reliable snow make it a standout destination for adventurous skiers.
