SOME PLATES AT ALTITUDE
Typical avalanche situation: windy snow.
SPONTANEOUS STARTS: a few flows (size 1) on steep sunny slopes.
RELEASES: A few slabs have formed in recent windy snow. They are found in areas of windblown snow accumulation, often away from ridges. These plates are probably a little more sensitive in the orientations of a large north to east sector, above 2200/2400 m, but generally remain thin and of limited dimensions.
