Great mountain, but targeted more to beginner skiers and families because there are only a few black trails. Most of the trails are blue, and if you are a beginner skier, this is a great place to go!
New lifts, lots of terrain
Crowded, not great for expert skiiers

We've been coming here as a family for 10 years. We love it. Plenty runs and routes to keep it fresh. Great for intermediates. So so pretty and lots of great traditional places to stop and eat. Accomodation been fantastic and available at all levels. I'd highly recommend you give it a go.
Beautiful place to ski. Fantastic food. Good value for money. Been coming back for years.
Bit of a drive to get there.

This area of the Dolomite ski area was called "The Carousel" as a large portion of Alta Badia forms a large circle of easy interlinking pistes. The exception is a wonderful easy black down to La Villa, which is used for the FIS Men's Giant Slalom, alongs

Went back to Corvara for the third time, everything is wonderful...from the mountains to the state of the slopes, from the food to the scenery! Plenty of slopes if you want to stay in the valley or endless possibilities if you want to cross one of the three alpine passes and reach another resort. You won't run the same slope twice!
Wonderful scenery, endless choice of slopes
Après-ski a bit quiet

Stunning scenery with a massive amount of runs. The sella ronda is brilliant but can be very busy but well worth doing.
vast area on the one ski pass
nightlife quiet

If you are looking for a place to change slope every day, you have found it. Simply put, no resort in Europe boasts a broader Network of interconnected valleys as Dolomiti Superski. While you have a respectable 130 km of runs in Alta Badia alone, you are granted the opportunity to access at least 4 to 6 neighboring valleys every day. Grand Tourisme skiers will enjoy the well-known Sellaronda (26km) and the immense WW1 ski Tour (90km). But Alta Badia and the neighboring valleys also offer slopes to give advanced skiers quite a run for their Money, such as Gran Risa (53% max slope), Cortina's Staunies (72%), Arabba's Fodoma (55%), Val Gardena's Saslong (45%) and the poker of blacks in nearby Kronplatz (Piculin:68%, Erta:64%, Herrnegg:60% and Sylvester:50%). If you are looking for scenery and Pictures, the Lagazuoi, Marmolada Glacier and the 10 km Longia to nearby Ortisei are not to be missed.
Skiing Variety,breath-taking scenery,family-friendly

If you take the SuperDolomiti ski pass the world is open to you, with days of endless skiing. The mix of German and Italian, language, food and culture gives the best of all things. The lift system is good and constantly being up-graded.
Don'y have to ski the same runs all the time.
Some chairlift lines are a bit long in the late afternoon.

I was in Alta Badia for my first time and although I went in March on a rather sunny year, the snow was still mostly OK. There are plenty of slopes for advanced skiers to avoid the crowded ones and even some rather decent off-piste possibilities. The fact that you are on part of the Sella Ronda circuit is a plus, as it is really nice to do the whole circuit. Some of the places had some flat runs and where pretty good for beginners, but a bit dull for more experienced folks.
Lots of runs, makes for less crowded slopes
Some of the areas had rather flat runs
