The slopes are prepared, but there is little snow off the slopes.

It depends on where you go. Alta Badia generally has little snow, unlike Ortisei, while the Selva Araba and Campitello areas have much more snow. I was in these areas on January 16, 17, and 18, 2025.

The surface is shallow, the snow is very icy and in very sunny sections the conditions are almost spring-like.

Skied the Sellaronda today. Pistes are in pretty good shape despite needing some fresh snow in the valleys. More forecast tomorrow!
