A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
I visited for the first time on a sunny Sunday in January and was pleasantly surprised. The slopes were superbly groomed; even in the afternoon, they were still untouched. This was partly due to the cold weather, but also because the ski area wasn't crowded.
However, the slopes aren't very long, and we had trouble finding a free table.
I appreciated the lack of après-ski; not everyone enjoys loud, blaring music.

The ski resort was disappointing due to poorly groomed slopes, which made skiing difficult and dangerous. Trail markings were inadequate and confusing, and the trails connecting the main slopes were narrow and dangerous. The snow park was inadequate, and the trails were rather difficult.

It's a nice resort; it's not the largest, but it's big enough for a week of decent skiing. Its main advantage is its family-friendly atmosphere; it's not crowded; I can easily let my kids go on their own. There aren't many people, and there aren't many "wild" teenagers. The atmosphere is friendly among skiers; I haven't had any unpleasant experiences like I did in Kitz. The slopes are mainly red and blue.

Super Skigebiet.
