Very pretty village with mature, laid back atmosphere. convenient buses to lift. relaxed nightlife and reasonable prices
very pretty and quite convenient, frequent buses to lift
lifts close 16:30 and last bus from bottom is 17:00. so little chance of apres ski at bottom bar.

4-5 nursery slopes (easy blue) at the base of the mountain. Used by both ski schools, fairly busy but not overcrowded. Couple of very difficult blue runs (most folk suggest they should be red) at the top making the transition from blue to red difficult for learners. That said, the tutors in both ski schools know thier way around and guide the classes appropriately. There are a couple of harder red runs from top to bottom and then a couple of black runs too - which I am told are not much harder than the reds but quite popular with the more advanced skiers... Apres Ski is okay, but not fantastic. Mostly hotel bars and a few pubs. You will see most the reps and instructors in the bars and there is generally a good atmosphere.
4 decent nursery slopes. Decent instructors at both schools (red and blue). Good links to nearby Auffach by free bus service.
limited intermediate slopes. Small selection overall.

Heel leuk, interessant gebied. De verbindingslift heeft een grote positieve impact gehad.
Very beautiful skiing area in a very nice landscape with some very traditional huts and houses. I really liked the skiing area because you have all the different choices of difficultness. You will find blue red and black slopes. There is also a interesting backcountry for some powder runs. You can also take the touring skis with you because there are many possibilities therefore in the surrounding. Also the snow conditions are most of the year very special. The area is not so big but and therefore also a secret place for everybody because there are not so many people like in the more famous skiing areas. You will find some very good traditional food, little après ski and a very beautiful nature for relaxing from a hard work.
good snow lovely area
not so big area (but enough)
Beautiful traditional austrian village approx 40 mins drive from Innsbruck. Skiing best suited for beginners and intermediates although there are a couple of black runs for the experts. Village linked to the main ski areas by ski bus although there is a nursery slope in the centre of the village. Not commercialised and not for the club-loving! The village itself is small and quiet with a number of great restaurants and a couple of bars.
