The manageable ski area Saas-Almagell is well-suited for families with children. The German-speaking skiing village is located in the Upper Vallais on an altitude of 1673 m and impresses with beautiful chalets in the region’s typical style with their black-brown wooden fronts.
Skiing in Saas-Almagell is still diverse regardless of the relative small size of the ski area. The pistes are mostly of easy or intermediate difficulty and are served by several lifts. There is a skiing kindergarten available for children as well as a skiing school, a training area and a magic carpet.
Furthermore, a large net of beautiful and sunny winter trails leading through the Saastal is available in Saas-Almagell. The better known neighbouring town of Saas Fee has good free ride areas.
