A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
A fantastic week, consistently breathtaking views, very well-maintained slopes as long as the temperatures helped. Unfortunately, the local refuges are starting to decline in professionalism and quality, and some of the local chairlifts need an overhaul. Allow me to suggest a night slope.

It's inconceivable that the cable car and gondola close at 4:00 PM because if you have to return to Canazei, you can't. And besides, there's no ski bus, only taxis...
I arrived at the lift in question at 4:06 PM, and the particularly rude and unionized staff denied me and five other people access when I was supposed to return to Canazei.
In all the resorts along the 4 Passes circuit, the lifts close at 4:30 PM at the latest, and others at 4:45 PM. Arabba Unicorn closing at 4:00 PM clips the skiers' wings, ruining the circuit and also causing damage to neighboring resorts.
They have another cable car that would be an alternative to the Porta Vescovo cable car, but it's been broken for a while and it's taking ages to repair it... in Madonna di Campiglio, it took them two days to repair a damaged cable car, so I'm sure greater efficiency is possible.

Arabba is a great place to enjoy the mountains, without dealing with ski show off. Marmolada has an spectacular terrain. One of my favorite spots.

Best ski area in thd wirld, with modern lifts, improvenents and expansion every year, phenominal piste work, and skier convenience a priority.
