An unforgettable stay in Val Cenis: perfect for the whole family! Our Christmas week in Val Cenis was a resounding success, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a destination that combines diversity and a friendly atmosphere. Staying at the MMV hotel, we appreciated the proximity to the slopes and the quality of the services offered. The resort offers a wide range of activities to suit all tastes and ages. Whether you're a seasoned skier, a beginner, or enjoy nature walks, there's something for everyone. The Escargot slope was one of our favorites: a gentle and pleasant descent perfect for families, even with beginners or young children. The ski school's daycare was a real lifesaver for the little ones, allowing us to fully enjoy the activities designed for older children and adults. Special mention goes to the activities offered by the resort: we loved the toboggan run, the creative workshops in the beautifully decorated Christmas bubbles, and of course, the torchlight descent with Santa Claus – a truly magical moment! We also enhanced our stay by visiting a local cheese factory and a farm, authentic experiences that delighted both young and old. Despite the sometimes unpredictable snow conditions at this time of year, the snow cannons perfectly supplemented the natural snowfall, ensuring well-groomed slopes. A few minor drawbacks to note: the lift ticket offices were quite crowded at certain times, which could be improved, and the resort was rather lacking in sunshine during the winter. Fortunately, the sun was shining brightly once we reached the summit, offering breathtaking views. In short, Val Cenis is a welcoming and well-designed resort for a successful family holiday. Thanks to its infrastructure and festive atmosphere, it's a destination I wholeheartedly recommend to all mountain lovers.
