My third visit to this wonderful resort, and I always want to return. First, there's only one downside: the gigantic (for Italy) queue for the Seceda cable car. If you want to ski this part of Val Gardena or take the descent down the legendary La Longia, unfortunately, you have to be prepared for a long wait. While the small cable car ride up from Ortisei is a standard experience, the second part of the route is a disastrous experience. A large shuttle cable car takes about 60 people up the mountain, and unfortunately, it doesn't go very fast, resulting in long waits. But enough complaining. Val Gardena, and especially Alpe do Siuisi, is a resort for both beginners and advanced skiers. For families with children, cross-country skiers, ski tourers, and freeriders. Starting with the impressive ski park, the kilometers of well-groomed blue and red slopes, and several black ones. Modern lifts, several heated chairlifts, and beautiful, sunny weather. This resort is worth visiting at least once in your life.
