Brixen im Thale - SkiWelt sits in Tyrol’s Brixental and is one of the most convenient gateways into SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. From the village, skiers can head up towards Hochbrixen or across towards Choralpe and Westendorf, making it a practical base for exploring a large linked area. The resort receives around 750 cm of average annual snowfall, with snowmaking supporting key pistes across the ski area. SkiWelt covers around 2,748 ha of ski resort area, with 275 km of pistes, 244 pistes and 81 lifts. The terrain is strongest for intermediate and advanced skiers, with roughly 42% intermediate pistes, 44% advanced pistes and 14% expert-level sections. The ski area ranges from about 620 m to 1,869 m, giving visitors plenty of variety for full days on the mountain. Families are especially well served at Hochbrixen, where practice lifts, conveyor belts, ski schools and Kinder-SkiWelt with Bobo’s Miniclub make the first part of the day easier to manage. Stronger skiers can use Brixen as a launch point for pistes such as Kandleralm downhill, Zinsberg downhill, Joch downhill and Filzboden downhill. Choose Brixen im Thale - SkiWelt if you want a well-connected Tyrolean base with broad piste choice, efficient lift access and classic Alpine scenery.
