Kelchsau - SkiWelt Piste Map
The terrain at Kelchsau - SkiWelt is quieter and more compact than the main SkiWelt access areas. It is a good fit for skiers who want a manageable, lower-pressure start to the day.
Official Kelchsau lift names include Babylift Kelchsau, Förderband Kelchsau, Hagermoos and Hagerjoch. These give the local area a practical focus for beginners, children and shorter ski sessions.
The wider SkiWelt brings the scale: around 275 km of pistes, 81 lifts and skiing from roughly 620 m to 1,869 m. Kelchsau can therefore work as a peaceful base while the broader area provides the mileage.
Beginners and families should make use of the easier local terrain before moving into the larger SkiWelt network. The smaller setting makes it easier to keep groups together and build confidence.
Intermediate skiers will find the greatest variety across the wider SkiWelt, where blue and red pistes dominate. Advanced skiers should look towards the main SkiWelt sectors, including the Hohe Salve side, for longer and more sporting descents.
For variety, SkiWelt also offers 3 official parks, tobogganing options and panoramic views towards the Wilder Kaiser and Kitzbühel Alps. Kelchsau is best seen as a calm gateway rather than the biggest terrain sector in the region.
