Kelchsau - SkiWelt is located in Tyrol, close to Hopfgarten im Brixental, as a quieter gateway to the wider SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental area. It is well suited to visitors who prefer a calmer village setting while still being within reach of one of Austria’s largest ski regions. Across SkiWelt, average annual snowfall is around 750 cm, with snowmaking supporting many of the main pistes. The wider SkiWelt ski area covers 2,752 ha, with around 275 km of pistes, 223 pistes and 81 lifts. Skiing ranges from about 620 m to 1,869 m, with a piste mix that particularly suits intermediate and advanced skiers: around 42% intermediate, 44% advanced and 14% expert. Kelchsau - SkiWelt is a good choice for families, learners and visitors who want a quieter base rather than a busy resort centre. The local Kelchsau lifts offer a compact setting, while the broader SkiWelt adds fun parks, tobogganing, wide pistes and panoramic views towards the Wilder Kaiser and Kitzbühel Alps.
